Our tips for an accident-free and all-round successful sledging outing

  1. Only sledge while seated.
  2. Warm clothing and good footwear required.
  3. Smart heads protect themselves with helmets.
  4. Children under 7 only when accompanied by adults.
  5. Mechanical brakes and plastic bobs prohibited.
  6. No sledging on your belly. No hooking sledges together.
  7. No dogs allowed
  8. No running uphill.
  9. Adjust your speed.
  10. There's an accident. What to do? Secure the scene of the accident. Provide first aid. Call for help.
  11. Observe emergency signals. Do not obstruct ambulances
